Reader comment on item: Reading Sharon's Mind

Submitted by Avraham (United States), Dec 23, 2003 at 21:53

Dr. Pipes, I usually feel that I have a good sense of what is going on in the Middle East. Sharon's speech and talk in Israel and America of "unilateral steps" have left me completely confused. In short, what in the name of logic is going on these days? Doesn't Sharon realize that political pussy-footing with Israel's security is a bad idea? In short, I hope you're right that Arik has not lost even more of his chutzpah.
