Reader comment on item: Frontpage Interview: Daniel Pipes

Submitted by Curtis G. Graham, MD (United States), Dec 20, 2003 at 15:01

Your comments in this interview are logical and forceful in the new struggle in a new war. I deeply respect those individuals who propose solutions to any war supported by the lessons of history. The common responses by pseudo- intellectuals about this world crisis, who applaud the experts on these issues, float on a sea of intuition and and personal experience. They lack the vision of reality. My Minor in college in history taught me that.

Anyone who says that history doesn't repeat itself is either blind or ignorant. I hope that you will continue to expand your expertise on these issues because you have a gift that needs exploiting. There a millions of the silent majority who agree with what you are saying and at the appropriate time will show themselves. I am sure of that.

If you have not read the article by Ralph Peters -- THE NEW WARRIOR CLASS, please do. I believe that you and he have a lot in common and can contribute greatly to the understanding and resolution to world disorder. I have a strong and intense desire to hear more.
