Dear Prof. Pipes,

The first attack, that I remember of a militant muslem,was Sirhan Sirhan killing Robert Kennedy in 1968. There were also hostage taking in the late 70's (in Washington D.C.)and arab hijacking of US planes.

I don't think these were isolated/unconnected incidents of violent behavior.

I really enjoy your articles, lectures and discussions.
