From the interview:

"Let us suppose you became Bush's main advisor in the War on Terror..."

Daniel Pipes would make a fantastic advisor to President Bush, whether it be an adviser on the War on Terror or even in an important cabinet position. Just having this intellectual, with his vast knowledge of all aspects of world affairs, near the President's ear would be a win-win for America.

An absolutely great interview! As a "non-intellectual", every single comment by Mr. Pipes made perfect sense to me. I especially liked his idea that President Bush surround himself with moderate Muslims. We need many more ideas like these from people, like Mr. Pipes, who know and understand the Muslim culture.

Keep up the great work, Mr. Pipes.
