Reader comment on item: Analyst Calls for Redefinition of 'War on Terror'
in response to reader comment: Muslim Actions Need to be Louder Than Media's Disinformation

Submitted by Richard (United States), Mar 27, 2008 at 02:45

I wish this was all the world had to worry about, a small monument with the 10 commandments on it. It appears that in this time of trouble, someone would enjoy the peace of reading how great if would be if, we lived by the words.

This country, The United States of America, was founded on religion, and its faith in God. We can see this all over our landmarks, money, etc. And although there is Seperation between Church & State, you cannot deny the fact that religion has played a big part in our countries history. Has no one noticed, that when you took God from the schools, and said no prayer, God left the schools, and now you have Godless schools, where violence is running rampid. So please, please, please, don't take God from our country, and leave us Godless also.

One last comment, if you do not like how you now live, or what is going on here, then leave. Why do you think that so many have come to this country????? Because it offers so many opportunities, and is the best place in the world to live. If you don't believe so, then what are you still doing here...?

Thanks
