Reader comment on item: Analyst Calls for Redefinition of 'War on Terror'
in response to reader comment: Islam is not a religion, an ideology

Submitted by donvan (United States), Dec 5, 2006 at 13:25

All Muslims are Muhammedians, Muhammed is the role model for Muslims. The more devout the more dangerous. Moderate Muslims are in fact only "Pre-islamic". The more they endulge in the "Sirens Song" of utopian Islam, the greater the justification fo violence to that end. What we need to ask is for Muslims to be moderate, not expect "Moderate Muslims", because they don't exist. Islam and Muhammed's base line belief system is predicated on violence. Is a male religion. The male has total dominance. No provision is made for the equality of women or other faiths. Every majority Muslim country, other faiths are effectively destroyed. Tolerance is not in Muhammed's book. This belief system cannot exist without violence and the threat of violence. That is the strength of Islam, it will kill you if you do not accept it.
