Amazing Smells

That the US intelligence came to the conclusion that Iran has stopped its nuclear program is a rather amazing statement. Either we were wrong before or we are wrong now.

What is strange is the admittance of certainty. With a track record of being at least partially wrong in Iraq, one wonders why simply saying nothing and watching closely wasnt a better option. There seems to be some form of inverse logic here that smells funny. What we said is amazing enough.Why we said it, and or why now, is the part that strikes me as smelly.
