I understand I'm a young person as I have just turned 18 a month ago and maybe I'm an idealist, but the way I see it is thousands of people have died for our rights of privacy given to us by the constitution. Just because a few more people die that means we should roll over and give up our freedoms?
I know that sounds cold and heartless but by passing this bill we are showing the terrorist that they do scare us. The reason why they are attacking us is because of the freedoms we are allowed to express here in America. If we allow terrorists to spread fear to the point where we hand over our freedoms which once gone will take a revolution to get back. Then the terrorist get their way.
