I have to agree with a previous reader on the wiretaps. One very important thing to remember is that many of the FISA court judges were appointed by the very liberal Clinton. I'm not sure I trust them to keep quiet about all that goes on there. Since there seems to be NO control over judges in this country, it would appear they can leak anything they want with no worry of reprisal!

Every time Bush shares something with members of congress, something gets leaked! As the previous reader stated, Hamas, Al Quaeda, Palestine, Iran, etc. worry not about how many Americans, Jews, or anyone else they kill along their path to glory. THEY are the ones who are worried about secret wire taps. It is my considered opinion that anyone who argues against these taps may have something to hide! I was commenting for a while in another forum, and there was one guy who insisted that "I KNOW they are listening to my phone calls!" My answer to anyone who says that is 1] see a shrink, you may be a little paranoid or, 2] if you're afraid of your line being tapped, then maybe we should send the Feds to tap you - you MUST be doing something you want to hide! I KNOW that we shouldn't have to "give up" our privacy to protect this nation. But we are dealing with an enemy that has NO Conscience! NONE! They don't care how many people are killed and maimed - they only care about their own glory! Islam wants YOU! America! And if you don't want them - I suggest you start insisting on these secret wiretaps. And I strongly suggest instead of voting the GOP out - start insisting that they give us candidates who will vote the party line - or be replaced. Maybe we need to start impeaching those who are in Congress and are NOT living up to their Oath of Office - which is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States - NOT to give our nation away to Islam or Mexico - or anyone else!

The liberals are NOT supporting the Constitution of the United States! They are attacking our troops and our President in a time of war. During WWII they would have been immediately removed from office and been under arrest for sedition - if not outright treason! And maybe, too, we need to threaten these liberal generals who are now attacking Bush and Rumsfeld with the loss of their pension. They are being paid - very nicely, thank you - and they should NOT be using their retirement time and money to attack the nation that is paying them!
