CAIR: Enemy combatants? Guantanamo!?Reader comment on item: Telephoning the Enemy Submitted by RPaine (Australia), Apr 19, 2006 at 12:51 Common sense make it clear that even if the FBI were trying to "keep their enemies closer" that they are missing the point either way: perception. The FBI should not legitimize CAIR. Islamist organizations, like CAIR, need, crave this this level of legitimizing publicity. Other Islamists see it as an achievement, and non-Muslims, who look up to the organizations that are charged with our care and safety, are more inclined to see care as kitten rather than a snake.
