Your points are well taken, but you have to remember where Islam is in the context of history if Christianity is any guideline. Islam is 1400 years old. Christianity is 2000 years old. When Christianity was 1400 years old, the Inquisition began with the same blind allegiance as the Jihardist of today. 600 years later Christianity is more civil and understanding. Give Islam another 600 years and they too will become more civil----that is if we can survive the interim period.
