Arab Israel Conflict

Reader comment on item: Polls, Palestinians and the Path to Peace

Submitted by David Ronis (United States), Mar 10, 2003 at 19:58

I agree wholeheartedly with Daniel Pipes. For too long, Israelis and their supporters abroad clung to the belief that somehow peace could be achieved with the Arabs if only one could find the right formula. Now, sadly, the truth has dawned on them. Yasser Arafat and his backers in Arab countries have conducted a successful PR campaign to convince the world that if only Israel would leave the territories there would be peace. But all along they have been scheming and deceiving in order to pursue their goal: the destruction of Israel.
