Don't Deal

Reader comment on item: Don't deal with terrorists

Submitted by James Biga (United States), Jan 25, 2006 at 09:49

For years we have heard how the American government has dealt with known oppressive governments. Hamas is a terrorist organization. It doesn't get any more oppressive than that.

Now, the same people making the aforementioned arguments will want us to deal with Hamas because they were elected by the people. Recent history is full of elected tyrants and oppressors.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. The President refused to deal with Arafat, now he must refuse to deal with Hamas. If this is the government they want, it is the one they deserve. They have not helped their cause one bit. They will continue to be used as canon fodder.
