Islamist University

Reader comment on item: The War on Campus

Submitted by NYTA (United States), Oct 5, 2002 at 18:32

I visited Concordia University several years ago and found it to be a very nice place. I didn't know that they had decided to change the name to Islamist University, the new chain of universities spread throughout the United States and Canada.

I am embarrassed for my school which is becoming the Islamist Univeristy of New York, which I have read is included in the Campus- Watch.org for giving an award to an anti-semitic "student leader" president of the Arab Student Union.

I would like to congratulate the writer of this article for presenting the issues so objectively that it's hard for even the most delusional Palestine supporter to argue that the events discussed represent the true nature of both sides. For those that still tout that Islam is the religion of peace, don't even bother blaming Israel or America for whatever ways they have "wronged" Arab countries, just look at what's happening on the domestic front in all of the Middle East except Israel.

Look at Nigeria where women who are pregnant and not in a marriage are put to death; look at the Suda where blacks are enslaved by the Muslim "moral majority". Look at Iran and Saudi Arabia where women are oppressed. Look at Iraq where the president doesn't even have to cross any borders to gas people...Iraqis do just fine for Saddam. It's not surprising that he greatest amount of Europian violence against Jewish interests occurred in France, the European country with the most Arabs...
