Militant Islam rears its head on Canada's campuses

Reader comment on item: The War on Campus

I really wish the Government of Canada would round up and deport those thugs who showed up to violently disrupt Bibi Nethanyahu's speech before it even began - they clearly haven't a clue as to what democracy, or even a peaceful demonstration might be. And President Bush and the EU hope to have democratic reforms in the PA , eh?
The Islamists decry the West, and yet they send their children to study in Western Institutions of Higher Learning - one wonders why. I've heard so much anti-Western propaganda spewed forth on an Islamic campus where students were being trained to go abroad to countries like the US, Britain, Australia and France. Islam it seems suffers from a schizophrenia of sorts.

At the University of British Columbia, a couple of years ago, Hillel organised an information booth on the Holocaust during Shoah week, just to educate the student population as to what anti-Semitism could do. Well, for no other reason apart from the fact that the Jewish students had put up a display, an Islamic booth popped up, portraying Islam as this so-called religion of 'peace'. I think that is what you call 'organised religion'...

Yes, its been a hot year on campus.
