I think this incident just goes to show that we as Americans don't have a clue as to what is going on in the world. I think if those students at that college really understood the realities of the problems we face fighting against these enemies, they would have done everything in their power to stop Ashrawi from speaking. And I think it would have been very easy for them to do without resorting to the tactics of the enemy. I'm sure they could have threatened some sort of walkout. Not that her speaking is the issue, but sending a message to the college and our enemies is. I personally don't think we as Americans are ever going to understand these problems until it is too late.
