Civilization vs Barbarism

The faces of civilization and barbarism are essentially the same throughout the world and differ only in degree. Civililzation is willing to risk losing an arguement. Barbarism can't take that chance. The point is that spokesmen for barbarism can sound quite rational until confronted by proponents of civilization.
