Trump's Legacy: "US moves to shield Saudi crown prince in journalist killing"

Reader comment on item: Trump's Saudi Speech: Pretty Good

Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes,

Unfortunately, I think you demanded too much eloquence of Trump
(probably using your Harvard self as a role model for him).
I wish that Trump could learn some rhetorical style from you,
or even absorb some vocabulary from you,
so that he could express his support besides "very, very, nice," or "great."

But more specially, he was correct (I maintain) - and properly confrontational - when he identified "Islamic terrorism" instead of your generous "Islamist terrorism." Islam has a problem that only Muslims can solve, and a non-Muslim such as yourself, though a scholar on it and the Middle East, should not makes excuses such as there is the "Good Islam" and the Bad which isn't really Islam, and which I (a non-Muslim) call "Islamism."
Unfortunately, I have no idea if Trump has speechwriters; but if he does, they apparently reflect his bull-dozer directness, without any fine distinctions which only you can make (as opposed to The Donald).

That said, the Experienced Politician Biden has been forced to "grant" (or recognize) the immunity of MBS from law suits in a federal USA court. The first visit Trump made as President is to Saudi Arabia - and that was in the best interests of our country, the USA.
