Conservatives Can't Consider India Sacred Either

Reader comment on item: Trump's Saudi Speech: Pretty Good
in response to reader comment: Can Saudi Arabia become a sacred land?

I agree with Prashant's assessment that Islamic nations can't be considered sacred due to the lack of sanctity found within the Islamic ideology. But that goes for all non-Western, non-Judeo-Christian faiths.

In Mr Prashant's home country, India, there is an alarming hostility against Christian minorities especially in Kerala. The BJP government is a far right organization that has imposed among many other things forced re-coversions of Christians as well as denying them dietary freedoms by way of pervavisive bans on the consumption of beef.

This antithetical to the good practices of a liberal democracy.
