Dear Dr. Pipes,

This note is to applaud your reader Muhammad Ardeshir from Pakistan. Responding to my earlier message that the root cause of the problem in Islamic society was beyond Shia- and Sunni-ism, Mr Ardeshir very succinctly stated that Muslims will have to terminate some parts of Islamic doctrine if they desire to humanize their faith. I sincerely applaud Mr Ardeshir. I might be naive but I believe that this change in Islam can be brought completely by non-violent means by firmly and politely criticizing objectionable parts of Islam.
