Peace Be With You. You are quite correct "...not a war on Islam. It is a war on a terroristic version of Islam..." and its not just the authoities in the U.S,Pakistan and elsewhere that need to recognize this but the average cititzens of these lands as well. Terrorism isn't determined by ones race or religion if the American populace was sincerely aware of this, witch-hunts against Muslims in the U.S would have never occured and still occurs. Timothy Mcveigh is Irish-Christian and Ted Kazinsky is Polish-American,where were the attacks on Irish and Polish for the evils of McVeigh and Kazinsky? Similarly as in WW2 the witch-hunt was upon Japanese-Americans,many were harassed, assaulted, had their property confescated as they were herded into consentration camps while at the sametime the US was liberating Jews from Nazi consentration camps. Why weren't German-Americans herded into US camps? The answer is simple---RACISM!!! As for the wave of attacks on Christians in Pakistan, you've heard it said "For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction" The attacks on Muslims in the US and elsewhere since 9/11 is the result of that reaction. I'm not implying that I favor this but there's only so much abuse one can endure before they lash out. No one calls Hitler,Manson,Mussalini, etc; Christian fundamentalists or terrorist when they turn terror loose in the world, take a look at yourself [and I don't mean you Mr.Pipes] and then you can look at others differently. PS; If you have to edit my statement dont bother displaying it.
