Islam is just another form of Judaism, the roots of Christianity

Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?

From a lot of the comments that I read on this page there seems to be a real fear of Muslims and in particular the spread of Islam, I have read the Koran and find it inferior to the Bible personally, but to each his own. As in all religions there are sects, and in Muslim countries leaders come and go. I have actually studied the Quran and even been to a mosque. Never actually met a real muslim person that I didnt like. Picking on Islam is a media ploy I think. As even christianity had its bad history.. see the crusades etc and the spanish inquisition. From what I read of Sunnah, Hadith and practices of Islam, they pray five times a day, they perform ritual cleaning before prayer. They donate a tenth of income to charities as alms... sounds similar to christianity! Its true however that a lot of muslim countries seem to want to see the destruction of Israel, but it all seems to me to be Fascist ideology rather than the quran. Some translations of the Quran that I read

(Alan Jones) Be not a friend to the christians as the christians are but the friends to the Jews. (This seems to contradict the teaching of Christ very much who said Love GOD and Neighbour.) That is why I dont believe that Mohammad was actually a prophet. But if people want to practice a religion of salat (Prayer) and zakat (Alms) what is wrong with that! Its the subversive fanatics that need re-education. Its funny how its ok for us to send many planes, tanks and helicopters and kill many, but the reverse to us is terrorism.
Just think about the many people who also died due to the numerous amount of bombs that America dropped on Vietnam. 911 was evil though, and not as some muslims claimed, a Jewish conspiracy. Most muslims I have actually met were very polite and kind people. You're bound to find the odd bad apple here and there in all religions.
