Identification of Abraham's Son Jacob by The LORD as Israel

Though likely not intended to be a question of Israel's authenticity as the nation whom the LORD loves; the inquiry 'projected' here is who is this 'upstart' nation cobbled together from castaways (the diaspora) from the north (Russia), the west (Europe), the east (Asia), and the south (Ethiopia and elsewhere in Africa), many of whom were funneled towards Jerusalem from before the holocaust after the first world war and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
The Levant was already in reformation due to the Balfour declaration before the the Nationalist Socialist takeover and the adoption of modern pogroms to exterminate the Jewish presence. Islam was more than willing to oblige the process to 'forget' who the Jewish people are and bury their history. What they did not understand is that they fulfilled the history of Israel to that point in time.
So we come to the place where the importance of the Temple Mount is now in sharp focus, even as the majority of modern Christianity do not understand its importance and how even Yeshua, Jesus Christ, promises that it is the place He is returning to. Most of American Christianity misses that memo. Ezekiel sets that premises out in full detail: Israel is who and where the LORD is going to fulfill all promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as fully expressed by her LORD, Jesus Christ.
