In contemplations of Islamic influences in the Middle East and the continuing confrontational attitudes about which adherences are to be considered in priority one to the other, the adage of 'a house divided cannot stand' (a Biblical observance made by Yeshua, in case anyone wonders), just such discussions have been made here, especially when one considers in modern and more recent times, the clashes between the Sunni Iraqi' and Shi'a Iranians of the 1980's; and more recently the Houthi insurgency in Yemen which pits the Saudi backed Sunni government against the Iranian Islamic Regime's intentions to become the region's superior dominant Islamic power; a power that if not sufficiently opposed, will present a world challenging thermo-nuclear threat that will not stop, ever, in its quest to achieve the long time desires of the Persian advocates of the Quranically based throne of empires.
If the challenges between the Sunni and the Shiite adherents of Islam are not adequately determined, does the Middle East fall prey to any version of Islam in its divided condition; or does this devolve as Reader Robert implicates in issues of decline of those influences and the actual war actually matriculates from the north as Biblically indicated. Potentially, as may be postulated, the religious aspects in the region may have religious influences, but the apostate attitudes of any of the area's religious influences (Judaism, Advocates of the Messiah or the al-Mahdi) may be overridden by the anti-religious post-communistic seekers of world dominant powers move in to complete the final chapters of humanity's rebellion to world peace. The answer is found in the Tanakh, the ultimate religious source describing the declines of empires....
