The only good thing to come out of this will be each Islamist side will weaken the other,as often seen when the religious bigots have no secular opposition left, they tear into each other. Unfortunately most of the electorate in Turkey being conservative Sunnis even after the stink of corruption by the so called "Islamists" how much the secular Chp will gain votes is open to question. As for the imam ranting and gesticulating casting curses onto his erstwhile confederates in best tradition of the middle ages,I and a lot of secular Turks say "the pot calling the kettle black" .I need only to mention rigging of the civil service exams, you do not infiltrate government offices without dirty tricks.

I can exchange any mention of Turkey and replace it with Egypt and your comments would fit very well with what is going in Egypt now

If secular Turks are smart enough they should be supporting liberals and seculars in Egypt and alert the people of Turkey that the next country on the list of the criminal jihadists in Syria will be Turkey and that the MB is a terrorist group
