Why Trump should be supported.Reader comment on item: Blowback from Criticizing Trump Submitted by David Goldenson (United States), Jul 22, 2016 at 10:49 I disagree with your diatribe against the Trump nomination. Trump reads us the laundry list of problems that the elites through action or inaction brought upon our country. The politically incorrect population is angry with current leadership for catastrophes from ISIS to ObamaCare to illegal and illogical legal immigration. Trump winning the nomination, to the consternation of elites in both parties, reflects their denial of reality. His inelegant words about NATO happen to be true and there is already some stirring in NATO countries to respond. As for your neo-fascist accusations, we're a lot closer to national socialism with Democrats like Obama and Hillary. It is critical that Hillary and company do not use the Supreme Court to overturn the Constitution. You are one of several prominent columnists who have quit the Republican Party in protest. Too bad Sanders supporters aren't ... I recommend "Ten Reasons Why Trump Could Win" by Victor Davis Hanson's and "Donald Trump is Right About One Thing: Our Experts Know Nothing" by Michael Ginsberg
