in response to reader comment: It's all words

"Laws are real, even when those charged with enforcing them might be flaky. Are atoms real? Neither you nor I, certainly, can see them, even though I spent a few years studying them on a nanometer scale with an atomic force microscope."

So 'matter' I like to think of as sort of congealed energy. And when yu look righr down into the guts of any particle - it disappears into any number of constituent energy fields.

"How about eternity?"

We're actually in it right now.

"..the world beyond our ken as finite beings. Our only contact with that world, at the moment, is through revelation; "

If you calm the mind, experience life right exactly at this moment and allow presuppostions to drop away - you'll glimpse it. Keep glimpsing it and the insight will grow.

"...and of course, even if the revelation is real, we have to believe it in order to "see" this reality."

Look at it as well as a process of disbelieving what you think you know.

"you and I are also words -- binary words at the moment, in ASCII characters. These same words are in my mind; and when you read them, they will be in yours."

I'm not the words my hands are typing on the screen - nor the points being converyed. Communication is from mind to mind.
