Anti-Israel Jews are rewarded.

Reader comment on item: How Church Attendance Affects American Attitudes toward Israel
in response to reader comment: The only surprise is the change in US Jewish views

There is no surer way of being rewarded by the media than by being the "expert/celebrity who is critical of Israel, but who also happens to be Jewish!". Daniel Barenboim, journalists at Haaretz, Chomsky, Neturei Karta etc.

None of these people would get any attention in the English media if they were of any other background.

Then there are the others (like Jon Stewart) who feel they need to be "impartial" between Hamas, whose Charter calls for the genocide of Jews (till the very last Arab in Gaza is dead), and the democratic, allied, and jewish state of Israel. These are the ones that do so not for the reward, but because they feel uncomfortable, and don't want to be tagged as loyal to another country. Similar comedians like Colbert have no complexes about the issue, and tend not to bleat Hamas propaganda.
