There's more than enough blame to go around

Reader comment on item: The Geneva Agreement with Iran: A Foreign Policy Disaster

Submitted by Doug Mayfield (United States), Nov 24, 2013 at 12:54

When McCain was running against Obama, I remember watching a McCain campaign rally at which he was explaining to his own supporters why Obama was such a good guy and would make such a good President. That's when I knew McCain would lose. It's true that reelecting Obama was shameful and the results will be continued disasters in both domestic and foreign policy.

But what kind of choice did the American people have? Obama, a dedicated dealer in socialist poison versus two cowardly semi-socialist RINOs dedicated only to out smiling Obama, a category in which he is an expert. Not once, with the possible exception of one Romney-Obama debate, did either of the gutless Republican wonders challenge Obama intellectually and morally. It is no surprise that Republicans lost and will continue to lose. The universe hates cowards.
