Major Question to ask: Why are there no bomb shelters in GAZA??

Reader comment on item: Reflections on Current Hamas-Israel Hostilities

Submitted by sara (United States), Nov 19, 2012 at 19:00

The fact that Hamas and other terror groups fire rockets into the militarily superior Israel continuously has caused Israel to develop defense systems, increased security measures and bomb shelters available for its civilians.

Why has Hamas in Gaza, on the offense, never invested a red cent in trying to protect their own citizens? If one asks that question, then the real motivations come in to sharp focus.

Casualties of their civilians are a priority, not their protection. Why on earth don't these people ask Hamas that question?

And why don't the EU countries and all the other windbags offer to pay for shelters for the poor beleaguered victims?
