How many rockets?Reader comment on item: Reflections on Current Hamas-Israel Hostilities Submitted by stanley b (United States), Nov 17, 2012 at 18:28 That's what I would like to know. If a potential motivation (or just happy consequence) for this confrontation is to deplete the accumulating arsenal of fajr-5 long range missiles and other assorted, then it is a valuable operation, given that the Israelis are successfully shooting most of them out of the sky. Perhaps they are staging a show for Iran to give the message that the extensive smuggling efforts literally evaporate into thin air (watching videos in Israel of Iron Dome at work is an awesome sight) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
