Reader comment on item: Ending the Palestinian "Right of Return"
in response to reader comment: Dear Mr. Tovey

Dear Mr. Banerjee,

The Tuscon school district recently ended its ethnic studies program, and is getting rid of the books that were used in that program. No books are banned. Anyone in Arizona who wants to buy any book, including Pedagogy of the Oppressed, can buy it at Amazon or at his local bookstore.

Mexican Americans already have associations that celebrate their unique history, language and culture; the largest and best-known is the National Council of La Raza (Spanish for the race). President Obama recently appointed the former chief lobbyist for La Raza as head of his Domestic Policy Council.

None of which, suprisingly, came to your knowledge.
