It has recently come to my knowledge that Arizona , (is that your state) is banning books like "pedagogy of the oppressed" and so on. Do you not think that this current decision by the Israeli supreme court and the decision by the Arizonan government to ban the teaching of Mexican-American studies constitute a pattern here ?

What do you think about this recent decision by the Arizona government to ban books ? Do you think now it is time for the Mexican-Americans to start a movement for the recognition of their unique history , language and culture in USA ?
