Ah, yes- the 'Why Can't we all just Get Along' concept

BJ, This is the major issue that I find so frustrating when people look in to the Israeli-Arab conflict. I mean no disrespect and I am sure that your intentions are good, but the fact of the matter is summed up in a nutshell: Why are you asking the Israel side why they can't accomodate and resolve the issue?

Why are these burning earnest questions never asked of the Arabs?

Why is Israel, who has prominent voices of all sides and opinions, who spends so much on self critique and analysis, on discussing compromise and dialogue, expected to do all the heavy lifting? Try out this question on a Palestinian site, or any arab site and see what they have to say. It is a one sided situation and Israel should not bear the greater burden because she is the adult in the room.
