What do the Arab world have such double standards?

Reader comment on item: Ending the Palestinian "Right of Return"
in response to reader comment: Arab emigration

Submitted by Peter Hall (Australia), Jan 23, 2012 at 19:42

It amuses me no end whenever I see the good Muslims of the middle east rant and rave over the plight of the Palestinians.

Why on earth would the Israelis accept the Palestinians when most Muslim countries do not accept the Palestinians? Why would Israel want the non citizens that Lebanon, the UAE and Saudi Arabia reject. Until these good Muslims show they want the Palestinians as their fellow citizens and brothers, how can they cry foul about Israel?

The Muslim world treats the Palestinians as second rate people, give them no hope, and refuse basic human rights. The right of return to Israel is secondary to the right of citizenship that the Muslim world owes to the descendants of the Palestinians who left Israel at the urging of their fellow Arabs. The Arabs have created this mess and they need to fix it.
