Sufi Muslim: Animosity is not towards just any book, but a book which spews animosity towards all non-Muslims

You have not specified hatred towards what. Is it towards the hate verses in the Koran, is it towards Muslims? If exposing hatred contained in a book is hatred of the people who follow that book then I am more than willing to accept your charge.

t was Allah who put that chip on my shoulder. Remember that it was Allah who created me knowing fully well billions of years before he put me down on earth that I would be questioning Him and His book about all its tall claims. If Allah knew beforehand what I would do and yet had no problem letting me loose on earth and posting what I do, why should you?

Right if you mean hatred of the hate verses in the Koran. WRONG if you mean hatred of the hate verses means hatred against Muslims in general.

What else does the Koran do, but fear mongering? It terrifies Muslims with verses like:

014.017 YUSUFALI: In gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near swallowing it down his throat: death will come to him from every quarter, yet will he not die: and in front of him will be a chastisement unrelenting.

014.050 YUSUFALI: Their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire;

003.056 YUSUFALI: "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." Islam terrifies non-Muslims with verses like: 009.033 YUSUFALI: It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

009.014 YUSUFALI: Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers, [WHO IS ALLAH ASKING MUSLIMS TO FIGHT AND COVER WITH SHAME?]

009.038 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. [WHO IS ALLAH INSTIGATING MUSLIMS TO FIGHT?]

009.041 YUSUFALI: Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew. [WHAT IS BEST FOR MUSLIMS ACCORDING TO ISLAM?]

002.216 YUSUFALI: Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. [FIGHT NON-MUSLIMS EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE IT]

004.056 YUSUFALI: Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. [SUFI, WHAT HAS ALLAH IN STORE FOR NON-MUSLIMS?]

The content I have discovered is something everyone should be made aware of as it concerns all non-Muslims. You read the verses I have quoted above. Should I not warn non-Muslims that the holy scripture of Muslims teaches them to go out and fight non-Muslims for no reason except that they are unbelievers? Would you not warn Muslims if you found any holy book of an infidel religion telling them to fight them without any reason except unbelief in a non-Allah? Read this verse from an infidel book: "It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over Islam, even though the Muslims may detest (it)." Will you not warn your co-religionists about the existence of such a verse in the infidel relgion's book? If not, why not?

You mean if I don't understand linguistics I cannot follow the theology of the Koran? I refer you to the various replies of dhimmi no more, including http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/165391 for a scientific study of the Arabic of the Koran If everyone has to be an expert in linguistics of the Koran how many can ever understand this so-called clear and unambiguous book which it claims to be in (5:15) easy to understand (44:58 , 54:22 , 54:32, 54:40), explained in detail (6:114), and conveyed clearly (5:16, 10:15)?

This tells me Allah chose badly when He decided on Arabic to reveal the Koran. Verbose: Using or containing too many words, "verbose speakers"; "verbose and ineffective instructional methods" (WordWeb) Precise: Sharply exact or accurate or delimited (WordWeb) The little linguistics I know tells me that there is something seriously wrong in Allah having selected Arabic for conveying His message. It has resulted in ineffective instruction to its followers. Some Muslims claim its message is peace and brotherhood, others after having read the same Koran go out and massacre and discriminate against fellow humans based on their understanding of this verbose Book.

How can you claim that an all-powerful Allah cannot convey His message clearly in Arabic so that translations do not create gobbledygook out of it? You are placing a limitation on Allah's power of expression.

All I can say is Allah chose badly in deciding to send out His message in a such poorly developed language as Arabic. Even the script was not fully developed at the time of His revelation. It is no wonder Muslims themselves are so confused about what Allah is trying to tell them.

Logically if all languages have these characteristics of being practically untranslatable precisely, and Allah would have been aware of this problem, He should have revealed the very last of His message in every language or in a language that can be translated into all languages correctly. Could Allah not create Muhammads among people who spoke other languages? If not it goes to show that Islam is meant only for Arabs.

What your post proves is that Muslims have no explanation for hate and violent verses in the Koran except to claim that Arabic in translation is gobbledygook.
