Dear Daniel Pipes

I have read your article very carefully. I would say that hypocrisy is a universal abuse that exist in all religions. When ever there is trough, there is crest. Some people may want fame and therefor speak or act in such a way so that they are percieved as the true reprentatives of a certainn community.

Anyways let I correct some of the facts and truths regarding the Day of Judgement.

End of times would come not only when tall black man would come but also when many other conditions would be satisfied; few are here

  • Man will control/ approach to the sun.
  • very few muslim will remain on earth.
  • a group of people will arise from mountains for the cause of Islam
  • etc.

Another thing that you droped in your coulumn is, perception of south-asian muslims majority. I am from Pakistan and do not comment on Obama's election. As Obama himself proving himself not to be a muslim, no one should expect from him as muslim. Yes as a first ever Black US President, I welcome him, as Islam equalizes all colors, genders and races. Obama is respectful for us with another reason that our Prophet (PBUH) had a special love for blacks

  • Hazrat Bilal (a black slave who was freed from slavery by muslim),
  • Hazrat Salman Farsi (a black old aged companian of Prohet PBUH) and
  • Hazrat Asmah( Najashi, a black king of Habsha who provided the shelters for the first muslim migration)

In last I will clarify that Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib is our fourth caliph and successor of Hazrat Uthman, the 3rd caliph. Ali was not a shiat muslim nor, at that time, was any sect among muslims. Yes Shiat's are supposed to be extra lovers of Ali. World's muslim community follows the directives of Imam e Kaba and all small groups like Shiat's Sunnis are the branches of the same tree.

Thanks

Hamza
