Mr. Btilly, what you name to deception to save somebody life

Mr. Btilly.. If somebody is talking to harm my best friend at night while he would be sleeping. As a friend I give him information to slip from home that night to decieve his enemy. So this deception is good for my friend against his evil enemy or not?
