The Left and the Nation State

Reader comment on item: Who Supports Israel[, Jews or Conservatives]?

Submitted by Peter Edgar (Australia), Sep 22, 2003 at 03:52

Thanks again for a cogent and correct analysis. I notice that those on the Left are increasing their advocacy of a world democratic socialist government and the abandonment of the nation state. This is really the old Marxist formula trotted out by people who no longer call themselves communist but still believe in the marxist cargo cult. It ties in well with the usually hidden and non-assertive goal of those who would delete Israel but don't always say what they want. Keep on with your scholarly analysis.
