Bi-Polar world?

Reader comment on item: Who Supports Israel[, Jews or Conservatives]?

Submitted by Glenn Klotz (United States), Sep 3, 2003 at 07:55

The world isn't black or white, liberal or conservative. The majority of us are somewhere in the middle. I believe most of that middle atleast in the U.S. see clearly who is waging war against whom in Israel. Most Americans know exactly how our Government would react if Mexico suddenly decided it wanted Texas back and sent legions of exploding Mexican nat'ls into Austin on a weekly basis. I also understand the situation from the Arab / Muslim side of the conflict as well. Unfortunately, in a clash of cultures one side or the other eventually wins out and theres no doubt that Israel is on "our" side in that clash.
