Who supports Israel?

Reader comment on item: Who Supports Israel[, Jews or Conservatives]?

Submitted by Ricky Haikin (United States), Sep 4, 2003 at 16:59

I am a liberal and I unconditionally support Israel. Using Tom Delay and the European Parliament as 7benchmarks for supporting Israel is not very persuasive. I may not agree with every single detail of Israeli strategy and tactics but who ever makes the right calls 100% of the time. And, where was Tom Delay when the Labor party was in power in Israel over the last 20 years or before 9/11 for that matter. And where were the people that otherwise make up the European Parliament 60 years ago. The case for supporting Israel is an easy one to make. Make it. Israel needs as much support as it can possibly get.
Thank you.
