What is the fringe?

Reader comment on item: How Central Is Muslim Anti-Semitism?

Submitted by martin Schulberg (United States), Jun 26, 2002 at 18:34

The attempt to portray this 31/2 year old girl's comments as coming from the fringe falls flat on its face. As Daniel Pipes indicated, this same type of message is found in children's textbooks. The Muslim clergy not only preach this same message they are in the forefront of those rallying the Arab world to hate Jews.

Who but a Muslim clergyman is at the head of Hamas? Why isn't there an organization or group that speaks out against these so called fringe people? When do you think the so called mainstream will show the State of Israel on their maps? When will there be message eminating from this so called mainstream that does not call for the destruction of the State of Israel? We the United States had better understand that the Muslim religion teaches that if you are not a Muslim, you are an infidel who must either be converted or slain.
