Public SchoolReader comment on item: The Travails of Brooklyn's Arabic Academy Submitted by Bea (United States), Jun 9, 2007 at 23:01 Why does the Board of Education feel that an Arabic Muslim school is acceptable in a Public School, funded by taxpayers dollars. I don't think there are any Catholic, Protestant or Jewish schools in the Public School system. Any parent who wants their child to have a religious education sends them to a private school and pays for it.
