Dear Mr. Kaplun-Leonov,

Thank you for bringing us your perspective, one gained through experiences very few of us have. I hope we listen.

I share your amazement with the US media that, as you say, were more than shy about reporting the million man block party that occured in the middle east on September 11, 2001. This is an interesting topic that perhaps Daniel Pipes could address (my apologies if you have already, Dr. Pipes). I suspect the cause may be partly simply the brutal, coercive manipulation of the media that occurs in all Islamic countries. For a look at how that works, I recommend The Other War, by Stephanie Gutmann.

I don't know how long you've been in the USA, so, perhaps belatedly, welcome to America. Your English is fine, don't worry.
