What makes you think that is a MUST? Do you think US can not do without it? Why should our kids learn about Islam? Do the Muslims let their kids learn about non Muslims religions in the West or any Muslim countries? Let me tell you never, because Quran forbids them. I am not against learning Arabic, but the kids WILL be definitely in to Islam, may be not all. Muslims call it "Shahada"

By the way, it is a myth about that Islam is the fastest growing religion, this is what Muslims will tell you, it is called Takyyia meaning lying ,especialy to non Muslims ,which is allowed to Muslims by their Quran.
