For our dear julieReader comment on item: The Travails of Brooklyn's Arabic Academy Submitted by dihmmi no more (United States), May 22, 2007 at 20:39 Julie what are you talking about? I thought that it is supposed to be an Arabic language school, and why should kids learn about islam but not Judaism, Christianity first and then the other great religions of Buddhism and Hinduism and Sikhism, and let us not forget and Mormonism and jainism and Wicca and paganism why only Islam? Or is this just wishful thinking?. As for Islam being the fastest growing religion in the US: Do you have any evidence to support such claim? I thought with all the immigration from Central and South Amercia that the fastest growing "religion" in Amercia is the "Catholic" religion! And have you been to the new cathedral in downtown LA?
