hezbollah a factor

Reader comment on item: Israel and Syria going to war?

Hezbollah is also an unknown factor. I think they would like to see war between Israel and Syria. First, they think they can win or at least severely harm Israel.

Second, they would like to see a destabilized Syria that could be easily made into a fundalmentalist state.

Third, Iran would certainly benefit from all of this with a weakened Israel and Syria.
