"Cosmopolitan"

Dear Dr. Pipes,
Thank you for giving the background information on how the Saudis came to power and their relationship with Ikhwan. The American dilemma is understandable.

I guess, you have used the word "cosmopolitan" in a restricted sense implying all shades of Islam. For me this word connotes presence of all faiths, viz., Jews, Christianns,Hindus, Buddhists etc. and not Muslims alone,
