Dr Pipes Left Out The Victory Method

I guess Pipes can't be too undiplomatic, but granted that victory comes only when the great majority of Palestinians lose their WILL to eliminate Israel and show this, how can this be brought about without military pressure and a certain amount of devastation, especially when this will against Israel's existence is largely demanded by their Islamic religion?

Unless someday Israeli tanks roll in with bloody intent to physically eliminate Hamas and the other jihadists, won't this dangerous & violent Iran-supported strife just continue indefinitely?
