I'm depressed

After reading about what happened to Dr. Pipes at UC Irvine and watching the video, all I can say is that I'm really depressed over what's happening. What I especially find SO upsetting is the apathy evident concerning the Muslims students' remarks! I had thought about and wanted to return to the States after having spent 20 years living in Europe.

Though I'm no great fan of Europe and Europeans' current attitudes toward the USA, Israel, Jewish people, violently radical Muslim presence here, etc., I have to think twice before making any moves. It seems as if US campuses are following their European counterparts; a very depressing situation indeed!
